What HOUR does God have for your life this year?

We can have our plans.
We can have our goals.
We can have our dreams.
We can have our desires.

But I pray ABOVE ALL THAT that we take time to get before the heart of God and simply ask Him: What do YOU have for my life this year?

Walking in alignment with Him will be the greatest joy to your heart in 2025.

I know His will for us will be good.

PASSOVER (3957) in Greek means: special meals, days, sacrifices connected to Passover.

I read in a study journal this week about the Passover and here’s what I found:

“Passover is a festival of freedom. It commemorate the Israelites Exodus from Egypt, and their transition from slavery to freedom. The main ritual of the passover is the seder [meaning “order” in Hebrew] which occurs on the first two nights (in Israel just the first night) of the holiday—a festival meal that involves the retelling of the exodus through stories and song and the consumption ritual foods.” (Myjewishlearning.com)

PERSONALLY, this is a reminder to not just celebrate what God is doing in the PRESENT; to live in hope for what He will do in the FUTURE; but also celebrate what God has done in the PAST, looking back and seeing His faithful deliverance in every season. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Praying for LA this morning.
Praying for all the hurt and pain in the world.
The injustice that seems overwhelming.

Praying for the seasons you go thru that are laced with pain.
Praying for the change God ushers you into that feels as if it’s more than you can bear.
Praying for the children that are far from God.
Praying for the disappointment, discouragement and sadness that you know God acknowledges the realness of that too—and He’s near to you.

Above all praying that the God within you brings hope to this world through you even in the direst of circumstances.

“he will give a crown of beauty for ashes, a joyous blessing instead of mourning, festive praise instead of despair.” Isaiah 61:3

I like to ask myself before my studies: who, what, where, when and why?

Who was the author of the book?
What was happening at this time?
Where and when was he/she writing from?
And why was the author writing? What was the purpose of the book?

Hope some of these details lay a groundwork of studying as you walk the road of scriptures ❤️

The word FOLLOW in Greek means to be in the same way with—insinuating movement.

The very word FAITH in the New Testament means to believe in the ongoing transformation of our character and way of life through what Christ did on the cross.

CHANGE. Saying yes to God is an adventurous-trust-journey that requires living open-handed with Him thru each season of life.

Say yes. Start moving.

For anyone who has run a marathon, often times you’ll see pace setters among the runners. These are people that if you stick close to them you’ll make it to the finish line in the time you desire.

I’m choosing my pace setters for this year on DAY ONE of 2025–God is it.

His pace for you will be different than mine, but in the end following the pace of Jesus for this year will lead to the best race you could ever run.

Don’t look to the right or left. Keep your eyes on Him and delight in every aspect of the journey.
