A new school year brings with it new beginnings, and not just for our children, it can be a new beginning for us as well—if we let it.
And I'm going to let it. I hope you let it be a new beginning for you as well.
So, with this school year—this new beginning— I've made a couple decisions, the first of which seems to be most important: If miracles (messages and material) are found in the margin ... then God, I create margin for You.
God moves in the margin or our lives.
It's just that so many times I'm far too busy to hear Him. My days are packed with endless to-do's that I forget the most important thing—creating margin for Jesus.
So this semester, with all the noise and business that surrounds us, we are going to slow down with this blog and create some margin.
The new format will be short, sweet and focused on God's Word. We will digest a verse or portion of a verse together and allow it to transform our lives. And you can chew on that one verse all week long.
It can be Manna for your Monday. Truth for your Tuesday. A Word for your Wednesday. Thanksgiving to fill Thursdays and food for thought on your Fridays.
Because the older I get the more I realize, the truth of God's Word changes you—it's powerful.
So here's to a semester of being changed by God's Word. I hope you'll join me!
Introduction starts next week!
Can't wait to journey through the Word with you,

"For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart." Hebrews 4:12, NIV
