We are over half way through the month and this topic of being a Presence Carrier is hitting the core of who we are created to be. As you continue to seek God may He speak beyond your task or assignment to the vast destiny you have in Him. May He align your heart with His and He maps out a specific plan with you—your path of obedience. Then watch as He performs miracles in your life. In your family. In your friendships.
And remember this, others aren’t a threat to you; they are part of your God-given destiny. Know that you are surrounded by others who are carrying with you. Carrying God’s presence and the weight of His promise wasn’t done alone. You can carry promise for yourself and for others.
As you carry for others, I pray this year that God surrounds you with people who will help you carry. People who are strategically placed in your life to help you step into the divine destiny He has for you. People who won't settle for less than God's best. People who see past your age, race, background and setbacks—to the true you, the God created you.
Can I be one of those friends to you in this moment? Let me tell you what I see.
I see a beautifully crafted women created by God.
I see a peacfully-obedient-warrior, not a weakling, who knows her place in God.
I see a daughter of the King. Royalty is in her stride.
I see a woman who has everything she needs to accomplish all that God has placed in her heart.
I see a 2023 filled with growth, an increase of God's presence and provision that only God can give.
I see dreams and desires you have been waiting on for decades being fulfilled this year, and other things you haven't even dreamed of being set into motion.
I see healing, restoration and redemption from the God who already paid the price for you.
I see love, joy, peace and patience flowing out of your life as a river.
I see a woman who as she walks obediently with God will change the course of her generation.
That is what I see when I look at you dear friend.
God’s purpose for your life is greater than you could imagine.
Make a commitment in 2023 that you will carry the promise and presence of God with all that you are. That you won't settle for less than His best. Don't lay it down in the middle of a miracle. The courage to carry isn’t for the faint of heart. It isn’t for those who choose to allow doubt to sidetrack them from being the person God has created them to be.
It is for those who step beyond their feelings and know, deep in their soul, that they rest safely in the hands of God. Secure in their identity in Him.
You have the courage to carry for yourself and others as you walk in personal obedience to God.
In Joshua, as we've been studying, the priests knew who they were in God and who they were called to be as they stepped into the water. They knew who their God was and that He was a man of His word. Their private life matched up with their public obedience.
Their desperation for God exceeded their fears. They knew God would come through.
I pray for you this year, my sweet friends—for you and I both. As you choose to carry well the promise of God in your heart and the presence of God in your being, I pray that He brings you sweet rest in the process.
As you have the courage to carry, may you rest in the river.
Rest often comes with release to God and acceptance of His plan above our own. Rest in the miracle God will do as you carry the promise for others. The Levites simply let God do His thing. In the midst of the rushing river, they stood on dry ground. They rested in that river, in the hands of a God who could do significantly more than they could ever do on their own.
The promise was God’s to fulfill; they just carried the promise well.
May God grant us the grace to learn how to actively pursue the promises of God in obedience while resting in the river simultaneously.
"May God grant you the strength to carry well—for both yourself and the hundreds of thousands of lives your life will impact for eternity"
